“Be the kind of woman that makes
other women want to up their game.”
This quote describes the six women who work at TFG. They all admire and learn from each other, edify and encourage each other, they model leadership and, on a daily basis, they make each other laugh. There’s so much to celebrate about each one of them. Yes, they are hard-working, knowledgeable, empathetic individuals who serve our clients with care. But they are also SO much more. On this International Women’s Day, we share just a few lines that scratch the surface.
Professionally Amazing: Already a rare gem – a female CFP® (only about 16% of advisors and 23% of CFP®s are women) – she excels at helping women going through difficult transitions, such as loss of a spouse, divorce, or changing careers. Kirstin couples her knowledge and expertise with empathy, and an enviable talent for explaining complex financial situations in the simplest and most relatable of terms.
Personally Cool: Kirstin can sail a boat, handle a rifle, drive the Autobahn, and grow a mean herb garden…all while rebalancing a portfolio. (Plus she has a personal trainer named Vinny – how cool is that?)
Professionally Amazing: Leading the way in a growing field, Amy is one of the first Certified Senior Advisors (CSA)® in the Hampton Roads area. Not only is she knowledgeable in financial matters, but she’s passionate about helping people age gracefully and transition through their later years as smoothly as possible. As a Certified Senior Advisor®, Amy is a specialist in serving aging Americans – a demographic that’s about to explode in the next decade as the last of the Baby Boomers hit 65.
Personally Cool: Calm, cool, and collected in any situation, Amy is definitely someone you want on your side in a crisis.
Professionally Amazing: A burning creative streak, sharp attention to detail, and the constant pursuit of organization, strategic action, and talent fulfillment make her a fierce protector of the brand.*
Personally Cool: Mikki has a gift for “herding cats.” She’s produced both feature films and children’s musical theater, creating order out of chaos and loving every minute of it.
Personally Cool: With Coco Chanel’s eye for chic and a shoe collection to rival Imelda Marcos, Terry sets the style bar high for the rest of us.
Personally Cool: A world traveler and soon-to-be first-time mother, Ellen deftly juggles her work with the whole pregnancy process, and without a single interruption to her naturally sunny disposition. She makes it look sooooo easy.
Personally Cool: Artistically inclined, she can make just about anything look better – from lettering to outfits to a 70” mock-TV made from copy paper – with even just the tiniest of tweaks.
